Selling of companies or activities
We advise our clients, industrial groups or individuals, which wish to sell a company or a division, for strategic or patrimonial reasons. ln this case, we require exclusive rights on the project; so, it is possible to cooperate efficiently and with confidence.
The method that we use, generally, proceeds in the following way:
-We prepare in collaboration with our client a list of all the French and foreign potential purchasers.
-Our particular position in China enables us to propose an extension of research towards this country, after study of the opportunity of such an extension.
-We thus address to all these potential buyers a blind presentation of the activity to be sold; we send also an agreement of confidentiality which must be turned over to us signed in case of interest.
-We dispatch to them, then, a memorandum of presentation and a letter of procedure indicating the way in which the sale (planning, price ... ) is considered.
-We collect the letters of intention of potential buyers. We make comparison and advise our client about the best offers to be negotiated with.
-These "shorts list" candidates will be chosen by our client and will enter an exclusivity phase. This one will lead to the signature of the contracts (memorandum of understanding, convention of guarantee).
Our know-how consists in giving birth, through the competition, to the "revenue from covetousness" which makes it possible for our client (seller) to reach the highest price.
